I'm gonna start this up again and I'm really excited about it! Over the past few months my life has changed dramatically and I can't wait to keep everyone up on my hunt for the next job and all my Venice/Santa Monica adventures. I'll slowly introduce people as they show up on here. For now, I just wanted people to know that I'm going to start posting again (hopefully on a daily basis of some sort). : )
This weekend was fantastic...really just splendid. Friday night there was a fundraiser/shindig of shindigs at the Falling Whistles house (the non-profit I help out with). All my compadres were there and I literally danced all night. I started out at my friend Erin's place with some friends and we headed over to the partaaay around 11pm. AHHH! Love it. There were so many people! I came, I saw, I laughed, I cut a rug.
Yesterday was of course Father's day and I was so sad not to be able to spend it with dad, but alas, we can't all make it home. : ( I did, though, celebrate my friend Leah's birthday with about 15 other people in the morning. We did this great two and a half hour hike in Temescal Canyon with a smorgasbord of a picnic afterward. Sandwiches, chips, cupcakes, strawberry shortcakes, mangoes, pineapples. Heeaaaaaaven, I'm in heaaaaaven.
That afternoon my friend Jon and I caught a flick by the name of "Hangover." Funny. Pretty dang funny. But of course, inappropriate, as well. haha.
Movie was followed by church and then on to a wine bar called Bodega to continue the celebration of Leah's birth.
Whoooo! Tired am I today.
